Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 6 mins
Total time: 16 mins
Serves: 6
Ingredients
  • Pork Schnitzel
  • 6 boneless top pork loin chops (1/2 inch thick, 1 1/2 pounds), trimmed
  • To taste sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • cup dried bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • cup milk
  • 2 fl oz vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. Pork Schnitzel
  2. Place chops between 2 sheets of waxed paper. With meat mallet or rolling pin, pound to 1/8-inch thick. Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Place flour and bread crumbs in separate bowls and make an “egg wash” by whisking together egg and milk. Lightly coat cutlets in flour, shaking off excess; dip in egg mixture, then into bread crumbs, pressing crumbs to coat.
  4. Heat oil in large nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. Place cutlets in the frying pan and cook, turning once, until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
  5. Place golden brown schnitzel on paper towel covered plate (to absorb extra fat).
